Yes. Periods can last from 3-7 days. And can be heavy or light. (since this was your first, how do you know that it was heavy?)

YES!
Any where between 3-10 days is normal.
Some women have heaver periods at a shorter time while others have lighter ones but the days may be stretched longer.
So, don't worry, you're perfectly normal. :]
