why not get marry if you two are in love. Why not share expenses, do you prefer paying for everything? Girl has clothes, prefume, shoes, and etc to buy. Guy don't use those. But if guy want to buy a new car and throw out the old one, girl complain. Price is different, but girl like jewelry two.
As for children, you don't like kids because how you were raise or you have no comfontent in yourself being a good mother? Or do you care about clubbing more than staying home with a baby for the next 3-5 year before they can go to school?
Mother in law? Don't you like your guy to be a family guy? What is wrong with him loving his mother? You don't have to live in the same house, but dinner every 2-3 week is not to much to ask. Dinner, sitting and talking is not even 4 hour? Can't you spare that every 2-3 weeks?

My husband and I got married to show each other how serious we were about our commitment to each other and because we love each other so much we wanted to devote our lives to each other in a formal and binding manner. It is a lot harder to leave someone after a petty argument if you are married and it teaches you to work on your differences together rather than just simply move on to the next person.

Marriage is all about commitment and I think it's a fool choice to get married for any other reason. If you aren't fully committed to that person and you don't love them for all that they are and will be then you have no business getting married in the first place.

Getting married to share expenses is silly, you can do that and stay unmarried. Plenty of people have children outside of marriage and nobody should ever get married or stay married solely for the sake of the kids. There are so many more divorces now more than ever because people get married for all the wrong reasons, or because they felt it was the next logical step in their lives. Marriage is serious and binding and should only be done out of love and devotion.

I think most people get married because they love each other. Marriage legitimizes the r'ship in the eyes of the law and by society's standards. It gives the person you love the LEGAL status he or she deserves. Can you imagine being in the hospital and the nurse turning you away because you're not "family"? Whereas if you're married, you won't have those kind of problems. I know some thing marriage isn't necessary and it's realy not in terms of LOVE alone. If you love someone, you can make a life long commitment without the legal one.

Some people marry because they're in love. They enjoy happy lives and raise successful children. Then there are others--people like you--who don't have a clue as to what marriage is about. They have terrible marriages and raise unhappy children. Sad.

Marry legally protects a union between two people. It protects the inheritance rights of any children.

If one was to become extremely ill or die the family of that person could totally cut the other partner out of the life of the ill partner and take what ever they wish with the ill or dead partners belongings.

To share an everlasting bond and commitment to each other. To show that they are responsible enough to commit to one person for the rest of their lives. To share the growing experience with each other until the end. To always have someone by their side and who will care for and love them always no matter what.
