When it comes to being an independent sales rep. for companies like Avon and Mary K, what are the better companies to sell for? Are there any companies you think are good sellers, or that I should stay away from? Thanks for any advice.

I'd go with Mary K. Avon has gotten pretty cheap over the years, and I don't know of many people who would buy their products over Mary K.

I think I answered this in another topic so let me just say I Love Mary Kay so much I started selling it three years ago. I came from a financial background and was impressed in what I found.
I have a friend that sells Tastefully simple and from a sales point of view I would think that is a good one to look into as well consumable and who doesn't like to eat:)

Personally, I got burned out of having to keep an inventory every month and being stuck with a lot of returns. Which ever company you choose, you will have to put some hard work into it, as for me, I will never stock or deliver again, since I found out I don't have to, to make money. Jennifer

Are you interested in makeup and skin care only?

There are many companies, like Arbonne, MK, Avon and more.

Or are you interested in something else? I do one that is home decor, there is also scrapbooking, food related, etc.

Decide what your interests are, then go to the Direct Selling Association site ( I believe it is www.dsa.org ) to find reputable companies!
