Cuban is already a disgrace to the NBA, MLB does not need him to tarnish their image.

I'm all for it man. Say what you want about Mark Cuban, but I'll tell you this: Mark Cuban actually likes sports, and that's why he's a good owner. I'm not even a Mavericks fan and I would love if he owned my favorite team The Lakers.
Point is he goes out of his way to accommodate the fans, he's always trying to improve his organization on the court and off the court.
Yeah he gets in trouble alot, but why does he? Oh yeah because he's insisted the NBA officials were cheaters... have you watched the news lately? looks like he was right. David Stern (NBA commissioner) should refund him all the money Mark spent in fines.
The Cubs need a shot in the arm, they now have a decent coach (F*ck Dusty Baker) Now all they need is a decent owner.

I would love for Mark Cuban to own the Cubs. He is not afraid to to get played that can ball in there. He also does not mind spend money to get them, He is a kick butt owner i mean just look at the Mavs and what he did with that team. I think that he will be great for the Cubs.

As a Cubs fan, I would love to see him as an owner. But, I doubt the owner of the White Sox Jerry Reinsdorf and his little lap dog, Bud Selig will ever let it happen. God forbid there be an owner that actually treats his players and fans with respect and truly seems to care more about winning then the bottom line.I think Cuban would be great for baseball, but doubt that he fits in with the stuffed shirts that control it.

Compared to some owners in cities like Kansas City and Pittsburgh, Mark Cuban cares about his teams. Heck, if I heard tomorrow that he had bought my favorite team, I would be jumping for joy, as I know he will do anything to put a winning team out on the field for the fans.'

I just wish for the sake of the sport, that more owners are, at least in caring for the fans and team, if not attitude, was more like him.

He can be a spoiled jerk but he wants to win at all costs. He spends the money to get the right people at all levels of the organization. He gets people who know what they are doing and puts them in charge unlike some owners that think they know it all and try to do it themselves. The Mavs went from one of the worst teams in the NBA every year to one of the best.

He could do great things for the Cubs. They need someone to turn them around. You cant be the lovable losers forever.

It would be great for the game but I would be surprised if we were to see Cuban leave his comfort zone and enter the world of baseball. He would be another Steinbrenner type and would go after anything he needed to build a winner.

Yes, I agree. No matter how much of a turd he is, the guy loves to win. He does anything it takes to put a winning product on the court and I believe that would carry over in the baseball field.
