You'd have him wading around shaking hands and smiling at people, would you? Haven't those poor folks suffered enough already?

Cameron's statement regarding this subject was 'Let me tell them (his criticisers) in the 21st century there is no domestic and foreign anymore. In this world today we are all in it together' I think the tories should criticise the Government as they always seem to shell out quick enough when any other country needs the cash and then boot David Cameron out! He should be back in this country in his wellies out and about and offering support to all those people who's homes have been destroyed and show that he actually cares about the people in his constituency as well as the rest of the country he LIVES IN!

I often feel that these characters who turn up at scenes of disaster to show solidarity are stuck between a rock and a hard place. On one hand it is a bit of a public relations activity because if they don't show up there is someone only too happy to criticise them. On the other hand I feel that they just get in the way of the job. I do not know what is best perhaps the people affected have their own feelings

As he's not in government he doesn't really have any power to do anything about the floods, like you and I. What do you expect him to do? What can you do? We can all only sympathise with the people who have been affected, same as Cameron. Blame the present government for knowing it was going to happen yet doing nothing. I really think that ministers (whichever party they belong to) or whoever that visit the flooded areas are just looking for publicity otherwise they would join in with the Emergency services to give practical help.

Why not he is not a plug so how could he make any difference if he was in Oxford. Go on Mr Cameron have a look around and see if you can learn not to make the same mistakes as the old Europeans did during their colonisation of the Contnents. Good luck fellow human being.

Yes it is right, keep the feller out of the way, he is an embarrassment!
Weve heard about his 'hug a hoodie'! What would he say about this disaster 'hug a floody'??
This way he can keep quite and wait for Labour party ides, then get his 'advisors' to pull them apart'!!
Thee same advisors told him how to cure binge drinking, and get rid of yobs , remember, price booze off the market!!

Why don't you blame the filthy New Labour party for 10 years of Government inactivity on this "just waiting to happen" problem. Then they go on telly and spew out the usual "This was completely unexpected", "Things will be done" and the old favourite "The money will be made available" platitudes. New Labour makes me puke.
