Many phones are phased out within a 6-8 month time period at the most. So, if it's been longer than that, then more than likely it has been phased out.
This does not mean that there are no longer parts / service available for your device. If you are having troubles with the phone, you can call customer service or see a technician in one of the stores.
If you are looking for accessories / parts for the phone, any of the retail stores can help you as well.
Hope that helps!

The easiest way is to go to www.vzw.com, search the available phones, and see if your phone is still there. If it's not, it's been retired.
