Looks like a waterbug, specifically the "backswimmer". Here is a link to some simple ways to get rid of them:

That is either a Water Boatman or a Backswimmer. Both are related. However, they are easily identified.....

The Water Boatman swim right side up and normally lives at the bottom of streams and ponds, while the Backswimmer swims upside down and normally lives at the surface.

Neither of them are normally predatory animals but feed on plants. Why they always wind up in swimming pools is beyond me.

Take it from experience, I picked one up once and they do inflict a painful bite. Although I have never gotten bitten by one while swimming. Just don't pick them up!!!!!

How do you get rid of them from your pool. Skimmers work just fine.

Well, it is a Backswimmer - Genus Notonecta. They are predaceous on insects and small aquatic vertebrates.

They have piercing sucking mouthparts and can inflict a bite that feels about like a bee sting.

They are many times attracted to swimming pool lights at night. Use orange pool lights or pool light traps and covers to control them.

Yeah that would be a backswimmer. Not sure how to get rid of them but you might want to call an extirminator. They have all the ways to get rid of bugs.

That is a backswimmer, scientifically known as Notonecta undulata. They can bite, so watch out! Backswimmers are attracted to the pool lights, so using an orange pool light or pool light traps or covers reduces the problem.
