1. Organism is one living thing. (example: a bullfrog)
2. Population includes all the living things of a given species in that area. (all the bullfrogs in the pond.)
3. Community includes all the living things in the area. (all the bullfrogs, dragonflies, bass, bluegill, leopard frogs, cattails, water lilies, algae, ...)
4. Ecosystem includes all the living and nonliving factors in an area. (in addition to all the living things of the community, add such nonliving factors as temperature, light, pressure, wind, air, water, pH, pollutants, ...)
