The pH scale runs from 1.0 to 14.0. Neutral is 7.0. Anything above that is basic and anything below is acidic. The farther from 7.0 that you go, the more intense the solution. The solution with pH of 6.8 is slightly acidic. The solution with a pH of 2.8 is definitely highly acidic
