I have read some articles about water cooling your xbox360 one of them told you all the supplies you need + the website to buy it on (koolance.com) and how to do it (looked pretty easy I could probaly do it).But theres a few down sides.1. Once I open my console up all my warantys are basicly gone.2.If the valves on the tubes are pretty loose and it leaks a lil bit my console could die on me.3. every lil (like a few months) while I gotta buy some cooling fluid and replace the stuff its already useing. On the good side I basicly dont have to worry about any overheating cuz it keeps the console about 60 or 70 degrees cooler (big diffrence from 10 degrees cooler with the intercooler!). So what should I do?????????

Right now, MS has extended the warranty on the 360 to three years for any problem that displays the red ring of death (three red flashing lights). If your console is over three years old, you don't need to worry about the warranty. Next, repairs for out of warranty service will run about $139. Unfortunately, it takes about a month to get your XBox back. So is the expense of water cooling your system out weight the risk of it failing for a heat related issue?
I had my box for almost three years before I got the red ring. Since they extended the warranty, its not costing me a dime to get it fixed and a new warranty. So, to me, its not worth it. Oh, if you keep your box in an area that air can get to it, you don't need to spend the money on added cooling.

ive read up extremely on computer water cooling, and all it really is it building a custom waterproof heatsink that can have liquids pumped through it. you will also have to create peices for anything else you want to watercool. since microsoft nicely made the xbox very similar to a pc, it is roughly the same process. just use a fishtank pump and piping. most of it you will have to make yourself. there are a few commercial products but are for desktops. why do you want to watercool your xbox, anyways? you overclocking it?

I wouldn't. Get the fan that hooks up to the back of the console if you do anything. Sounds to risky. I read a thing on how to fix a ps2 online and I opened it and did what it said and it never worked again.

Given that MS just extended the red ring of death warranty to 3 years, I would not do that.

Personally, I wouldn't use it. Just don't play your Xbox for extend periods of time. You really should take a break every now and then, and when you do, your Xbox cools down on its own.
