I'm thinking of buying some i know they look good in jeans and pants but i'm not so sure about shorts. Where i am summer is pretty warm so i'm not gonna wear pants any time soon and I need some new shoes so i was wondering about chuck taylor shoes. So do they look funky with shorts and which ones do you think are better high top or low? BTW i'm a guy (just for clarification).

Low top Chucks are the way to go with shorts. On guys, I think it looks best to wear shorts with low-top Chucks with NO LACES!!! And if you wear socks (which is not a must), make sure they're the short ones that only go up to the ankles.

Just go low top. High tops with shorts are for people that are trying to be hip and crap. It's really up to you but as low tops they just look like shoes and not like you're trying to make a fashion statement.

i wear high tops with shorts all the time, if you go for high tops, roll them down one and they wont look funny
