why do American woman like English men so much?

as an Englishman who is currently in the USA on business i feel i must ask this.
Most American woman that i have met want to have me.
They say most American men get drunk on 1 pint of American lager and therefore would like a real man.
is this true?

We love imported men! LOL It's the accent, partially. Ok Fine MOSTLY. But I mislead, I have a French husband, my good friend though recently returned from Europe with an English husband. I can't answer the male view of the English Women, but I'm sure the same intrigue is in play.

I don't know if i should look at this as a serious question or a sly remark on Americans.

I would say it is mostly the accent, and in general just being from a different culture. I had two foreign exchange students from two different countries in South America, and they would tell me that if i went down to their homes, the women would love me just for being from America. So I don't think it is cause of your drinking. Most women don't care how much a man drinks.

And on the drinking note: I don't know any one who gets drunk off of 1 pint of beer. We have way worse binge drinking problems than any nation in Europe.

1. An American kid who likes Sid Vicious and pretending that he's English
2. An English kid who likes Sid Vicious and has never been to the USA but likes to talk about how he knows what Americans are like.

I guess the same reason that the women of Sherwood love the American male accent. I know several from Sherwood and a few from Derby and they are engrossed in the American male accent.

That's definitely not true that american men get drunk off 1 pint. I think we americans drink less than europeans but we're aren't "t-total" as my lovely english fiance says.

Why do I love my english fiance? The accent is amazingly cute and I love to listen to him, but I really like him for all the normal things. He's sweet, loves sport, cooks great, makes me laugh, and is great in bed. He's also great with kids, handsome, and likes to travel like I do.

Well since you are such a bad-***, I'd like to have a drink with you, or maybe more than one drink. But anyway, I digress. American women probably think the accent if nice and cute and all that, and they probably dabble a little in the Englishmen. I too dabble, in your englishwomen and let me tell you, American women baby, that's the way to go, so its no surprise to me that you are quite infactuated with them so much so you must make up stories of most of the American women you meat wanting to "have you." Good luck here in the states and go ahead dabble our women, but they will always come home to us.

I seriously doubt ANY woman wants you. Although some English men are attractive, I personally am not too fond of them. I prefer Italians, Spaniards, South American, Irish, etc.

I don't think this is true. It has actually been my experience as a woman that men tend to think that being nice and polite is actually a woman "wanting" them. While sometimes that is true, most of the time, that is just a woman being nice and polite.

If we aren't, then we are accused of being b!tches or dykes. So I guess we can't win either way. . .

I hate to hear American women gushing about "Cute British accents" what makes them think they can come and take our men?!

I'm Welsh and I love English men too especially Londoners like my other half. They seem to hit the parts Welshmen can't quite reach.
