somewhat worried and extremely upset i guess you can say. i mean you can dodge fights, shootings, strip clubs, heck even fighting fans but one thing that can ruin a sport is the thought that the game is fixed, and now for at least the next 10 years people will always wonder (especially when thier own team gets a few bad calls in the playoffs) if the refs are adjusting the game.

he is the best GM in all of sports and if he can somehow sidestep this one then the man is legendary. but i dont think even Stern can dodge this bullet

i'd be worried as well if i was in his position

David Stern clearly does not know what to say about this situation. I can't really blame him though. If I were the NBA Commissioner, I would have a hard time taking this incident. I mean this is undermining the value of the game. The NBA is one of the world's most exciting spectacles, and Stern has to deal with this. I don't argee with Stern's logic most times, but this time, I feel for him. He's going to be going through some killer stress for weeks to come.

You can imagine how upset he must be when something like this happens to the game he dedicated his life to and the game he loves. I would almost cry too if I were in his shoes.

He might be crying after all his viewers stop watching fixed games, which he had to know that some of the games surely fixed. This can spell doom for the NBA i.e.Hockey!

I said the same thing to my husband!!! He totally looked like he was going to cry, esp. at the beginning of the conference... He recovered, though.
