I have not heard any Philippine SONA for the last five years, so I do not know what to think. But, if it is anything like the ones we have before that, then there will always be violent reactions to it. That is not to say that those complaints are not legitimate. I agree with one answerer who says that the average person has no idea how to run a government. And that usually SONAs are done so that the common people can understand but of course it can be condescending or may be too ridiculous. But anyway the Filipinos are normally to blame for who runs their government, because of people who sell their vote, people do not vote, do not guard their vote or do not spend time in choosing who to vote for. For some people vote for people they know or for people who they can get favors from during the campaigning & after the elections. Do not be deceived we deserve the leaders we vote into office, starting from the lowest levels of government.

Difference, more lies at the present SONA than last year. More fantasy this year. Fulfill it? Asa pa. A liar could not fulfill a promise. In the first place, she don't have right to give the SONA. Maybe this is the reason why she is describing a fantasy land in SONA because she knew, she is not the rightful president.

GMA has been making improvements on our economy, the way i look at it is its better than someone idle but stealing. I do hope and pray she could turn the country around, it would be good for us. She need's our help too. No payback for us if we still whine... we have to be optimists.

So what will the answers to this question amount to?
Discussions on partisan politics, I think, should be discouraged on this page. No offense, just my point of view. Of course if you find that you have a very important opinion, you are free to articulate your thoughts and answer our friend's question.
