How do I get my husband to stop talking after we have mad mind boggling passionate sex. It drives me crazy, he babbles on and on. I don’t want to tell him to shut up as we just experienced a great moment together, sometimes the stuff he talks about is crazy non-sense, and he must think it is funny, and I say to him he is tripping on endorphins, is that possible? I laugh lots of time, and we got into fits of laughter, honestly could this be a chemical reaction in our brains from mind boggling sex? We live with his adult sons, and they must think we are crazy in the middle of the night laughing like crazed people. Does this happen to anyone else.

Great answers so far! the sons live with us, we own the house, once I start the laughing it is like uncontrollable, that is what drives me crazy. We sound like teenagers giggling and laughing.

k I am confused on this question of yours and your follow thru with why you asked. On one hand you say it drives you nuts, but on the other hand you say that you go into fits of laughter. How can that be, cuss I know when I am driven crazy from something, I don't laugh even when it is funny. Maybe just a *****, but that is usually the reaction to this. Sooo.
If it drives you crazy, just tell him nicely, that you prefer to roll over and go to sleep afterwords than talk or cuddle. (hmm like a man does) I am sure that him trying to be a loving person and thinking that you are like most woman, like doing this. Girl he is just trying to make sure that YOU are happy all the way around. Sex is good, but love is great. He doesn't mean anything by it. Yes you are still on a high from the great sex, so probably for him to go to sleep right away is hard, cuss he still has a ton of hormones going thru his body. I also think that you should just learn to let it be, he might get hurt feelings if you stop it. I am glad to hear that you still make him giddy after sex, most men loose that after awhile and it becomes a routine.
Now that you cleared up what makes you crazy....your laughing uncontrollably....well now I can see what your problem is. Go with it girl. Do you really think that the boys, don't think you do it? Heck no, let them know you two are happy with each other. That only makes the kids respect you more for making their dad happy! Not only that but you have shown them that marriage is not a waste of time, just have to look for a good person!

Sometimes men have all those emotions and feelings and maybe babbling helps him deal with those strong feelings. Maybe try putting on some of your favorite music and when sex is over hold him close and say shhhh our song is on.
The other thing you could try is when he starts to talk, kiss him and say hey let me just lay here and listen to your heart. You don't want to shut him down or up really, you just want to enjoy the mood and the closeness for a few minutes.
Most women would appreciate mind boggling sex and a man who talks to them after tho so I don't know how much help you will get here lol.

There are millions of married couples who are not having "mind boggling passionate sex" EVER. So...my suggestion is to just deal with it and be happy with your husband. If you tell him to stop with the after-sex chatter, he may feel uncomfortable having sex at all if he knows that he has to be quiet when he's done.

Yeas, it coyuld be endorphins, or oxygen deprivation. Try saying something like " I love it when you are silent", or " I really enjoy the moments after great sex when you are not talking ****"....lol
Actually, Why not just shush him, but as you do so pull his head over to your breast, or stare into his eyes, as though his talking is making it difficult for you to enjoy him(=he is great happiness provider) rather than jsut shushing him (=he is annoying)

sometimes saying it in a nice way could be a deturrent. Like, a soft "Shh, I want to savor the moment" (or something less sappy! lol!) I'll lay on my husband's chest and "listen to his heartbeat". If subtle things like that don't make a difference, you'll need to talk about it when you're NOT in the moment. Mention that you like to quietly enjoy his skin touching yours, etc. You can make "quiet" very romantic if you word it right.

LOL, well that's different. Most men just want to roll over and go to sleep, I know that I do. Tell him to just shut up for a few minutes and let you bask in the feeling.

Just hold his face in your hands and kiss him on the mouth... He'll get the idea.
More power to you, living with his adult sons. Adult sons sounds like an oxymoron to me!

I think you should be ecstatic that your husband is so comfortable in talking with you after mind boggling sex. No matter what he is saying. At least he doesn't turn over and go to sleep.

Sounds like fun! I think I would chalk it up as one of those intimacies that only two people who really care about each other can have and let him ramble all he wants. Laughter is sexy.... embrace it!
