It's Michigan! Right near Canada, and surrounded by 5 lakes. It's usually always cold up there. I never pictured the temperature to surpass 70 at any point in the year in Michigan, seeing in winter temperatures drop to the negatives in wind chill.

It's cold in Pennsylvania, too. Otherwise, I'd say it was because Michigan gets all that nice cold air from Canada and the Great Lakes.
