is affection meant to be privately shared, or is there a certain amount that can be shown in public?

Sweet kiss/peck, hugs, holding hands or a finger (sometimes I do that), park bench lap sitting, sitting on his lap while at a bus/subway bench waiting for the bus/subway (u're also helping to make room for others to sit on the bench-while u get to sit on his lap as well, cool huh!), he's standing behind u & wraps his arms around u while in line or wherever, eye contact etc. Basically the make others go awww-what a cute couple type stuff is fine. They still show one another & others, "I Love You" without going overboard.

But anything after that: The mo-tonsile hockey-hands roaming-grabbing etc, should b left behind closed doors at home. Cause not is it just private acts that should be share by the 2 only privately + to me doesn't look "I Love You", looks semi kinda slutty to me sometimes. Outside there r underage kids, seniors etc they don't need/not ready to see that, so they should b respectful of that.

I guess it would depend on how much affection is being displayed. If they are doing everything but the final part I would be a bit uncomfortable (most likely running in the opposite direction as I almost always have the kiddies with me) but if it's something as simple as holding hands, hugging, hands in each others pockets, kissing (from pecking to lip lock), sitting on each other's laps, etc. I would be alright with it. Before I answer the next part of the question let me tell you I come from a rather small town where up to a few years ago homosexuality was not very public. That being said I will now answer the second question: My first experience seeing homosexual displays of affection actually occured at a "gay" bar. My friend is a stripper and one of her co-workers, "Nicki", is bi. "Nicki" decided to throw her girlfriend "Angela" a birthday party there. My friend invited me to come with her. The first thing I saw upon entering were two gentleman (in much the same attire as my father wore when he went out), one man was sitting on the other's lap. Initially I was a bit shocked because the first thought that went through my mind was that of my father. After the initial shock, it really wasn't any different for me than seeing two people of the opposite sex sitting in the same fashion.

I think a certain amount is OK...hugs, hand holding, lingering eye contact & sweet playful kisses are just fine...makes ya say aww they're so cute! Anything more than that...is too much in my opinion and should wait to be shared in your most private moments! ;o)

There is nothing wrong with showing affection no matter who is around, but that does not mean a public grope fest or make out session....have a little class.

Stop at holding hands. Other things are special and should be kept for the 2 of you

Gross. Some things are ok, like a little bit of cuddling, or a kiss on the cheek/forehead, but no making out or fondling.

Lots can be shown in public and then when you get private, you can go crazy on each other........to me, it's like a form of foreplay.........
