And why is Jean Marc (answer below, thus this edit)concluding that "all previous answers" are wrong (and he is correct?). To say the least, it is unethical to bash when no one is bashing you. And funny, he would say later "I would say...". Did he do the counting?

Of course the NSO does not count every year, but here is a projection that goes even beyond 2007, if he cares to do some research. That is why these are called projections, based on the "knowns" - - - actual population during last census, plus the population growth rate statistics.
