I was wondering if you could take your spouse along with you???

I meant travel to the country with you?? Can your spouse travel to the country that you will teach in with you?

ESL stands for English as a Second Language. It's something that you use (English is NOT your primary language). Unless you are taking courses to become an ESL teacher, I don't understand how you might take someone with you!!

Sometimes colleges allow an enrolled student to "survey" a class. That means they may attend, but their work is not graded. They don't get credit for the class.
Many colleges offer free ESL classes as well. Check into that or an advocacy group that represents your nationality, they would know about free classes. Also check your public library.

Do you mean to take the class with you? Probably, but your spouse may have to enbroll as well.

it depends on the school/instructor.

sometimes its easier to ask forgiveness than permission, bring him along and find out.
