I read a question from a guy who claimed he accidentally cheated on his wife ....What the hell?
I'm sorry an accident is getting in a car crash, falling down the stairs, getting hit with a ball etc.
How in the world does a man claim he accidentally fell into a vagina? "Whoops I was walking along and damn I fell and low and behold it was a vagina" (this part is a joke from the Def Comedy Jam, just cleaned it up some). Sounds funny, it's even hilarious!
But for real what will the next excuse be from a cheater???? I can't wait to read to next ridiculous question from a cheater. How about the rest of you out there?

I wasn't talking about just men cheating on their wives but vice versa too. Both sexes can be just as bad when it comes to cheating!!!!
There should NEVER be a "circumstance" or "mistake" as some of you put it to cheating on your spouse or mate whatsoever..
If you don't have the will power to say NO don't put yourselves in those "circumstances", such as a lonely man or woman in a bar.
Just like their are no accidents when it comes to cheating there are also no mistakes either. A mistake is a typo, a mistake is overcooking a meal, or putting bleach in the wrong load of laundry etc. . SEX is NOT a MISTAKE. It is a conscience choice!!!!! And for a few moments of pleasure without thinking can ruin relationships....
I just wanted to point out just how funny some people's questions can be about cheating. I didn't expect so many to be so negative. To me that means that you're the ones that cheat and don't care about anyone but yourselves and you are the ones ruining lives.

My point is that there is NO excuse for cheating period.....And that some people have the gall to come on this site asking what they should do after cheating or when thinking of cheating. You should love your mate whether married or in a serious relationship to commit yourselves to them no matter what (unless it is abusive). Marriage or commitment isn't just a word but an obligation to the one you claim to love. Otherwise don't bother to marry or commit if deep down inside you know you can't or won't. If you are the kind of people that enjoy sleeping around and actually feel good about yourselves when doing so then go ahead. Life is to short to not only ruin your life but that of a potential mate. Commitment and or marriage to one person is a great thing and I just wanted to say GOOD LUCK to all those people out there that are willing to commit and be faithful to the one they love, MALES AND FEMALES.

I'm not a cheater, and I'm choosing to never be one.
Yeah, that answer is such CRAP.
"Oh, it just happened". My rear end. Sex does not "just happen". If it did, I'd be having a lot of it. You have to work really hard to make a relationship, or even sex, happen. It is ALWAYS done on purpose and with intent.

When a person cheats and then they say that it was an accident that is their excuse for cheating. Some people will believe anything when it comes to cheating. There is no such thing as accidentally falling into someone's bed.

Hmmm. Interesting topic.

I can't really believe that someone who cheated seriously expects the person they cheated on to believe them when they say they cheated, but it was an "accident". No one can be that stupid. ANY kind of sex requires forethought and intent.

More than likely, the "accident" comment implies guilt on the cheaters part and, perhaps, an incredibly ridiculous effort to evoke mercy on the part of the significant other/spouse. IN the cheater's mind, "accidents" are more easily forgiven than things done on "purpose". Hence the "accident" theme.

Bottom line. Don't cheat. It wrecks the trust in a relationship and, soon after, the relationship itself.

Well, what about a lonely guy drinking a bottle of champagne in a bar, trying to cheer himself up after a fight with his wife, and a pretty girl comes along and shares the champagne and they start to kiss? That's all pretty innocent, isn't it? What is a couple of friendly kisses with a pretty girl? And the next thing you know, the kisses get wet and so does she, and the clothes fly off in the front seat of the car.

You see? Thing can happen without your even knowing what is going on. Guy's get all the blame for things like this, even though they don't mean anything at the time. I know you girls are going to slam me for this one. But it is what it is. $hit happens.

Define cheating. Everyone has their own meaning of the word. What is the most miniscule of cheating; the start of it? Is any social intercourse the first building block for cheating? Is there a plan? You know, THE PLAN.? Are there anyone here who, in their eyes, have not cheated at some point in their relationships?

Serial cheaters are something else. But, circumstances can happen too. Sometimes you have to give a person the benefit of the doubt. People make mistakes. I always said that once was a mistake; twice was a habit.

Cheating isnt an accident its a choice. You might be drunk but you made the choice to be drunk with that person you are attracted to. Thats no accident either, you chose to be in that situation sober and what happens when drunk is a result of that choice.

I once dated a girl who told me she cheated because I wouldnt sleep with her and she had a high sex drive. I dumped her after explaining that if she couldnt handle going without for a couple months she isnt ready to be in a commited relationship and to have kids....because that means going without for 18 years.
