Hi- I was going to go off the pill but have now changed my mind. It has been 10 days since I should have started my new pack can I just start them back up again even though my cycle will be off track? I do not want to get pregnant and was using spermicide that I just found out is not very reliable and I am scheduled for a tubal next month!!!!

wait to go back on til you get your next period. until that time use condoms, or a diaphragm, FemCap, or Lea's Shield in conjunction with spermicide.

speak to your doctor about these female barrier methods.

Talk to the doctor or pharmacist.

You should start a new pack and use protection for a week or two. You might end up being off track for a bit since you stopped for so long.

Well then you should just wait and use condoms because you would actually need to wait until your next period and begin a new birth control pack. If you start taking your bc now it wont actually be effective and it usually takes 30 days to come in to full effect.

Start BC pills in case you change your mind about tubal next month.....
Only you have to take additional precaution as pills won't be effective in this cycle.
Good luck!
