I helped a woman whose car died this past January in sub-zero temperatures. She was stranded in the turning lane with about five cars honking at her. She was in tears. I did a U-ie in the intersection and gave her a jump. I followed her home to make sure she arrived safely (she agreed to this). She then offered me money but I refused.
Then two weeks ago, I went to New Orleans for a week helping to rebuild houses. I worked on three different houses and made many friends. It was the most rewarding thing I have ever done. I'm going back next year for two weeks.

there was a man who went to try to pay for his food and didn't have the money so I paid for his food. The reason why i do It is I get a feeling of if I was in that case how would I feel that is what drives me. I do it so if I'm ever in that case where I need help I hope someone would help me every good deed deserves another but I don't expect any thing in return.

I was at the mall, getting my stroller out of the car - my kids were still buckled in their seats. A lady was getting her baby out of her car and she fell. She and the baby went down. I ran to her. We made sure the baby was okay, got him buckled into the stroller. She scraped her arm, no biggie. She had stepped in gravel and her feet went right out from under her. My oldest said, "That mommy has a boo boo" when it was all over LOL! I'm a mom, any parent would have done the same thing.

gave money and a ride to a woman who was short in the store, when I was barely getting by. called the auto service to unlock a foreign womans car, picked up a woman no one else would have helped, help elderly with loading groceries into their car every chance i get. helped a senior woman get her wire hoop in her ear yesterday, before she would exit her vehicle for her waiting husband with the walker. none of these are most noble, just natural and right.

I saw an older woman struggling to get groceries out of the store. I pushed the cart for her and helped her load the car.
I was hoping she'd be an eccentric Billionaire and leave me lots of money. But she wasn't.

My friend and I went out to get coffee, and there was this guy, who was passing around cards, because he was deaf, and asking money, so instead giving him money, i bought him a cup of coffee with a muffin, it was way better than giving money.

i used to wait tables part-time on the weekends. there was a family that came in, they were victims of hurricane katrina, i paid for their meal out of my tips and chatted w/ them for awhile. when they were leaving the lady just grabbed a hold of me and held me so tightly, it was a very powerful moment. our family did alot of various other things to help out victims. i always try to help someone in need, it doesn't have to be monetary. it just feels good to help someone. it's a daily goal of mine to at least do one good "deed" a day.

I don't know....I just help people when the Holy Spirit leads me to do so, and I don't think about it or ask questions. God's got my back!
