I have been working in the same place for 2yrs. My boss is terrible. He never pays us on time and is always in a bad mood. He has given me an opertunity to do a course that he will pay for on condition im contracted for another 2yrs. If I do this I can't go to the States in December cause i've just come back from leave. On the other hand my boyfriend is moving to the UK on the 5th Jan 2008.He wants me to go with. If I go with him, I can go to the states and pay for my course after working my *** off. I'm scared I make the wrong choice.Please help me come to a conclusion as I have looked at all the pros and cons. What would you choose to do

I'd scrap the boss. Life is too short to tie yourself up for another two years at a job you hate. Close this chapter in your life and look forward to a new one. You will be given the opportunity to do the course again, and it may come cheaply, you don't know that yet.

Why would you ever work for a boss that makes you uncomfortable. There are too many good jobs out there. Look hard and find a team that is appreciative of your hard work. Dont sell your soul for a few bits of gold. It may be ok in a situation where the pay is humongous for and worth the grief, but I would bet that you could find a good job elsewhere , where the boss isnt such a loser. The best job in the world is the one that you ENJOY.
