I absolutely loved it. It's very different from anything else on TV right now. And the shows where the cop is very edgy and has problems, it's always a male, so this is definitely a change. Besides the fact that Holly Hunter is an exceptional actree, she just took this role and ran with it. And I love Leon Rippy as a tobacco chewing angel. Talk about perfect casting. This show takes a lot of chances, and I believe it's going to pay off in the long run. I know, I'll be watching.

I saw it and took it right off my VCR! After enjoying Joan of Arcadia for two years and missing it terribly when it was cancelled, I was looking forward to something similar. I don't have any problem with the cop/dysfunctional person plotline, although I probably wouldn't watch it regularly for that. What I object to is the "You're going to hell" s**t! Joan's God would have tried to address the pain she was suffering. Grace's God is only interested in adding another tally to the "saved".

i saw it I liked it because they finally have a show in Oklahoma i actually feel like we're getting on the map but then AHHHHHHHHHHHH what a horrible likeness of us. It made me feel like we were all country hicks. But i will continue to watch the show with hopes that they actually spent some time here and get the scenery and feel of OKC a little better
