He's got a shot at the Hall, but probably not on his first try

He was drafted by a 2-14 team and took the to the playoffs 2 years after.

Top 10 all time in yards, completions and attempts. But the most important fact is that in his prime he was one the best pure passers.

He also led his team to 24 4th comeback victories.

So my answers is yes, even if he won't make it to the HOF his number must be retired by the Pats.

I think he did. You look at all the busts over the last decade, and you have to recognize what the man has done. He holds at least a few passing records, right? And he was pretty accurate when he had good pass protection. Overall, I'd say he was a B-, which is only about 20 x what I could do if I stepped out onto the field with a bunch of pro football players.

I dont know of this Drew Bladsoe character you speak of. But, Drew Bledsoe was very good for a period of time in New England. Led them to one Super Bowl appearance with a weak supporting cast. and came off the bench to lead them to another. I think he was a fairly solid pick.

Drew is every bit as good as Tom Brady.I remember when Brady was getting bad press before the TEAM got good

He has been a solid QB. He is not a hall of famer, but he has turned out better than a lot of #1 picks.

No chance at the hall of fame whatsoever, but as far as #1 pick QB's go he was a solid pick.

Absolutely. He has impressive stats and he's been to two superbowls. He's not a hall of famer but he was worth the number one pick.

Terry C. - Drew Bledsoe does have a super bowl ring. Even though he didn't win as a starter.

He will get in on the veterans ticket not by the media. The media hates Drew cause they say his success came from him being one of Parcells boys.

not really...i always thought he was very inconsistent....it was frustrating...he had some spectacular plays but i think that was the big difference between him and brady...maybe brady doesnt have the best stats or the huge plays but he just consistently moves the ball....that being said...still love bledsoe..he was great for new england and really started the turn around of our team...will always be grateful to him for that..plus he was great in the community too..with charitys etc. we love him here in new england!
