In the original series (1980s), the fastest cars were Jazz and Mirage. In the movie (2007), it is supposed to be Jazz. The one that they should have included instead of Ratchet should have been Wheeljack (he was the engineer/scientist, and he was always listed as the best driver of the autobots).
