Pulled my shoulder out, working, thought it would get better, but now it sounds like gravel is in it when I move it. I did not tell my boss, because I have only worked two months on the job.
What do I do? My daughter tells me, that if I go to a Doctor, that then the company I work for can claim it is a pre existing condition. I really want to keep my job, but also do not want to lose the use of my arm. Any advise will be helpfull

Well I work for an orthopaedic surgeon and I can just tell you what would happen if you were to see us.
They are going to, of course, ask where the injury happend and when you tell them at work, they are going to then ask if you filed a claim.... I'm sure that you can still file the claim...just be honest with your boss as to why you didn't tell him before and it should be fine...
We have had patients before that did not file workers comp and just filed it the health insurance (you can talk to your doctor about doing this, but sometimes if the insurance finds out that it happend at work, the will deny it).
So anyway, it happens all of the time that people hurt themselves at work and wait to file the claim. I think thats normal especially for someone starting a new job.
You should not ignore your problem though, your health comes first. And you can't get fired for getting hurt at work, that is what workers comp is for.

Go to your own doctor. Ask if he or she thinks it was caused by the work injury. Then ask for copies of the records for a workman's comp claim.

Then try to find the phone number for workman's comp and call them. They'll help you It might be a hassle for a while, but if it's really related to the injury, it should work out fine.

I have heard bad stories about "company" doctors. So I would try to avoid them if possible. My Dad got sent back to work with a broken arm once, the company doctor said it wasn't broken. He went to another doctor and it was broken.

I had a workman's comp claim because I broke my knee in a car wreck. My assistant was driving and the trip was work related. It took several months for me to get any money, but when I did, the settlement was pretty good.
