I was just wondering how many people can just listen to this album by Pink Floyd over and over without getting tired of it ever? This album has changed my life, and sounds so awesome when your high. I just so happen to be listening to it right now......and im high.

Hell yeah, just about everyone likes it. And its true you can't listen to just one song from it, you have to listen to them all from the first to the last. I love it, when im high or when im not, its great. A bit better when your high though. :-p

I can honestly say I've never been high ~ sorry, drugs just aren't my thing ~ but I do love Dark Side of the Moon.
My two favourites can be taken as stand-alone tracks:
The Great Gig in the Sky {must be played at FULL volume!}
Money
But if I'm listening all the way through I love 'Brain Damage' & 'Eclipse'.
I would have to disagree with one of the answers above - Pink Floyd is NOT 'stoner' music {maybe in the early Syd Barrett years, but not later}.

True this is a good album, but I got burned out to listening to it back in the early 70's when it came out. OMG! I played it over and over, so no it isn't my favorite from them. Delicate Sound Of Thunder is my fave from the Pink Floyd collection, and I have them all but 2.

perfect album I can listen to the whole thing without one second of boredom. You cannot just listen to one song even though there are many hits from that album. That is one album I have never spit the songs into a mix cd.
Pink Floyd is not stoner music possibly the syd barret years but after they went into concept albums and prog rock

Its a really great album, although the wall is my fave, dark side of the moon still gets played as much, i haven't been stoned in a long time but you don't need to be high to listen to it as it gives you a natural high when its played at earthquake level 15 :-)

I haven't listened to it for years but recently heard it blaring out of a car - fantastic, unbelievably good, I'd forgotten just how brilliant Pink Floyd were and, in my opinion, better than anything else that's been around for a long time - although concept albums might not be everyones cup of tea.

With it's excellent production values it needs to be played on a good hi fi system at high volume to get the best out of it. As you say, it's a very good album. Having said that, I couldn't listen to any piece of music over and over again, without eventually growing tired of it.

lol..... you sound like me a few years back...... I used to listen to it endlessly. Its a really cool album to light up a joint to....... The album itself seems like they were high when they made it because it is really out there, but in a cool kind of way jeje The first song Speak... the first part used to scare the **** out of me when I was laying there all high in my bed and then the cd repeated and the heart beats started sounding and then the little boy screaming man thats ******* scary by itself.. a lot more when you are high. Good taste in music bro

Indeed a classic that I listen to quite often but if I had to choose a favourite album of theirs it would be "The Final Cut".
