Am I the only woman who is tired of this Hilary Clinton joke, and realizes the stupidity of it??

People are always saying: "we can't have a WOMAN
president! When she goes on her period every month, thing will be crazy and she'll be starting wars and crying all the time, etc!

Helllloooo.... Hilary is well into her 50's, therefore, sorry to say but she's already hit menopause! No need to worry about her monthly hormonal cycle interfering with her ability to make presidential decisions! And I hate that guys think that women are incapable of doing anything on their period! Unless I tell my bf that I have really bad cramps, the way I run around, he'd never even know! Just let Hilary do her thing, even though i'm probably gonna push more for Obama! : )

Some guys are still neanderthals.

Heck, look at India they now have a female president, hard to believe that they might be more progressive than the US

The way it works is that men can be assertive and strong. But when a woman behaves that way, some call that "b!tchy" or say "she has pms".
The fact that she is a female and people are afraid of her cycles, is so lame. If that's what makes a poor candidate, how does it explain all the pissiness the male candidates toss around?

I am tired of all the hoopla over Hillary being a woman, over Obama's name and the color of his skin, and his religion. Heck, I'm even tired of the Mitt Romney religion jokes too.

I wish that everyone would start looking at each candidate for their stance on the issues and to stop looking elsewhere to try and discredit them.

THIS IS NOT A HILLARY JOKE BUT JUST A SERIOUS PROBLEM INVOLVING WOMEN AND WOMEN IN POLITICS.

WHEN GOLDA MIER WAS PRIME MINISTER OF ISRAEL THEY WERE HAVING A PROBLEM OF WOMEN BEING RAPED IN THE EVENING.

ONE OF HER CABINET SUGGESTED SETTING A CURFEW FOR THE WOMEN: NO WOMAN ON THE STREET AFTER 7 IN THE EVENING...

SHE RESPONDED BY SAYING OH NO, THERE IS GOING TO BE A CURFEW ALRIGHT, THERE WILL BE NO MEN ON THE STREET AFTER 7 O'CLOCK IN THE EVENING.

PROBLEM FIXED!

Unfortunately, I think that some people will take advantage of any opportunity to bash Hillary Clinton and/or make a sexist remark. I would like to think that the people who display such ignorance are a pretty small minority in the US.

I think Hillary is runnig more on the platform of being the first woman president than Obama is on being the first black president. She even said it last night trying to "break through the hardest of glass ceilings." Imagine if Obama said "I'm running becuase the the man has been holdn us back. "Quite ridiculous.

Other than that issue i think Hillary would be an ok president. I would rathe have an emotional woman (not suggesting she is emotional) than a stubborn idiot. If she gets nominated I would vote for her before any republican. Obama 08'

I like the old joke which says,

"PMS is that period where, for 5 days a month, women act the way men act ALL the time."

I am. Tired of slams on women, tired of people playing the gender card. I don't like her politics, but that has nothing to do with her gender.
