Carlos Silva:
He's the teams "workhorse". Carlos is not a strike out pitcher, but rather a ground out type pitcher. He has to work very hard to get batters out, and helps the team turn many double plays. Carlos puts everything he has into his game, and pitches his heart out in every outing he performs in.
Carlos is also very exciting to watch. Not only does he help in turning double plays, but he rarely gives up a free base with a walk. Finally, he is an emotional player who shows that he is upset over every home run he gives up, and pumps his first at double plays, and when he gets himself out of a jam. Carlos is extremely fun to watch, and I hope the Twins keep him around.

Tom Glavine, guy owned in both hockey and baseball. He was unreal at hockey and could have gone to the NHL if he chose to, but understood that the money was better in baseball and decided to pursuit a career in the MLB. I see he made the right decision and is one of the best pitchers of my time. Good looks and decent question even if the best answer isn't going to me.

Forget the points. My favorite is the reliable, hard-nosed ballp[layer with dust on him from sliding who doesn't make mistakes and does a steady job day in and day out both with a bat and his hand an in the field; a guy who does not get nervous under pressue.
Mine's Hideki Matsui of the Yankee right now.

Khalil Greene. He's go great pop for an NL shortstop and continues to set records for Padres SS in HR and RBI. He's also an excellent fielder and smart base runner. ROY runner-up in 2004.

I go old school. George Brett. Played his entire career with the same team. Never heard him trying to hold out for more money or negotiate to play in bigger market. He did what the team needed him to do. Even after he retired he stayed with the organization.
