Don't ya wish you had a signboard on the rear of your car that you could type messeges on a keyboard and have the messege diplayed on your backbumper in big letters?
I hat tailgaters and this one this morning just wouldn't get off my bumper!!! Please tell me you are not a tailgater.....

When I read the opener my first comment was going to be but it is such a cute but, I don't want to get off it. However, since you didn't really go there I will digress. I fully agree with you I despise tailgaters.

Personally, I don't tailgate and i hate having that done to me, especially when i'm doing the speed limit or a little over.
The two solutions I worked out in my mind are:
1) a small box, the lid affixed to the undercariage, the bottom free to swing open. The box is held closed by a latch similar to an electric trunk opener. Now take 2 1/2 inch sheet metal screws, screw them thru 1 1/2 inch sqare pieces of sheet metal and load the box. Someone tailgates, speed up and hit the release. No more problem.
2) A Stinger missile strapped under the car, pointing backwards with a remote.

I'm not tailgating! That really tears my nerves up sometimes. At night, they want to shine their brights right into my rearview mirror till I'm blind. I can't stand riding with a tailgator either...

You actually can buy something like that. You type in what you want it to say and it scrolls across on a sign on the back of your car. You can get it at Spencer gifts or other places.

OH YEAH!!!! I'd have one that says...
I brake for Jerks and tailgaters...you see my brake lights you decide which one you are...
and another message that alternates with it that reads...
tailgaters give me road rage...be afraid...be very afraid!

Ah, my mother thought up the exact same thing, except she says there should be a big sign above your car. I kindly told her that she should be driving, not typing. =D

As long as they are going the speed limit I will stay back but if they are going sssslllllllllooooooooowwwwwww, I am on their butt.
