Sorry man laughing.
I love all you ladies out there but you do find problems out of little things sometimes.
Hey, gotta admit the summer is depressing as us blokes would rather look at you lot in bikinis than wellies.

You can keep the clothes until next year..fashion doesnt really change that much and it would be a waste of money to go and buy another brand new summer wardrobe next year.
Thi is precisely the reason why i havent gone banana's and brought a new summer warbrobe because i know that we dont really get that type of weather over here. If the weather picks up a bit, you might be able to wear oyur new clothes in august (but dont hold your breath).
you could always give you new summer clothes to the less fortunate (thats me actually! im a student who hasnt got much money at the mo!) lol

I've been out in the sunshine today, so it's not all bad. I'm looking forward to a couple of weeks holiday soon so two weeks of floaty skirts and no raincoat. Somebody said we may have an indian summer, so roll on September, if not the charity shops are going to get a lot of donations. Note to Mr Tripod, I think it's terrible that a lot of people have lost lots of their possessions and have had their homes ruined by the floods, but it doesn't mean that we can't feel upset that we haven't had much chance to wear our summer clothes, we don't have to all feel miserable or dress like nuns.

Wear it, I am. I refuse to buy summer clothes and just cause someone decides we're not having a summer this year, why should I suffer.
The way to wear some of your clothes and stay warm is to layer. looks trendy and at least you can say you've worn them all.
Have fun playing dress up lol ;0)

I am wearing the same shirt I have worn for the past 8 years. I only shop when I need something new, ie; worn out articles or the hiking shoes I just bought.

I know exactly what you mean! Thankfully, i'm going on holiday, but it has been the worst summer ever. I just finished exams so it should have been a long, great summer. However, the weather is starting to get me down!

Take it all on holiday! The clothes deserve to be worn and I refuse to bow down to mother nature and am wearing all my summer stuff in protest anyway.... (which would explain my stinking cold!)

I know what you mean i did just that myself. Because of not being able to wear any of it though and staying in my comfy stretch jeans that i wear for the winter i have put on weight so wouldnt either fit into them or wouldnt look good in them.
So its tough look for me anyway.

Oh no!!! What a catastrophe! Quick, Call David Cameron back from Rawanda, Get the Government to call a special parliamentary meeting to discuss this issue which has been completely ignored by the media.....it's a scandal, Bring the emergency services back from the flooded lowlands, ignore the deaths and the fact that 350000 are without drinking water and the Billions of pounds worth of damage, the destruction, the misery, the heartbreak of people losing family heirlooms....there's women in this country who don't want to wear their new summer dresses because it's been raining.....
Sheeeeesh!

Layer them over long sleeve t-shirts in the winter.
Wear shorts over tights like Superman.
Keep them for next year anyway, and do your bit to save the planet (and some cash).
Feel the fear and do it anyway.
