I used to have telewest, then it changed to Virgin. I was a bit gutted when I lost the Sky Channels as it was in mid-season for 24, Nip/Tuck, & Lost, but I made my brother tape them all for me.
I get the XL TV package, broadband size M and the phone package that gives me free weekend and evening calls and my last bill was £42.95.
I think that's quite good value, I have a four year old so I am in nearly every night and use the internet all the time and my little fella watches all the kids programs, not bad for just over £10 per week.
If you want to know more about the channels I get check out the link

Virgin Cable formerly known as ntl Telewest which used to be just Telewest! I just got used to ntl Telewest when Virgin bought it out and I don't remember hearing about it! I think We get the XL package but not sure how much, since the bill comes under hubby's name!!! load of channels-too much confusing choice!

I've got freeview, all it costs is the price of the box and you can get one for about £30. There are about 20 watchable channels. There is enough to keep even me entertained and i'm quite picky about what i watch. I think sky is a bit of a rip, for what you get it's not worth the money.

I have freeview. Plenty of channels for my liking and doesn't cost a thing once you've bought the box. And even that didn't cost me anything since a kind friend gave me his old one.

I have Freeview, loads of channels but it can depend on where you live. It was a one off payment for the box (£30) and no monthly payments...I love it. I dont get movie channels but it suits me fine.
