i have investment recently in 1 bank. After 1 month, they send me a letter that need me go to 1 of the places that listed in the letter to get a $40 voucher.

Now, the places listed say is A, B, C, D, E,F,G & H
And I can spend the voucher either in the places listed above PLUS places 1,2,3,4,5 & 6.

Now the place nearby my home is 3 and i went to 3, wish to get the $40 spend. (i didn't read the letter carefully, yes, it is my fault here) and dissapointed, i couldn't exchange the letter with shopping vouchers. I need to go somewhere else (A to H)that is farer to get the vouchers.

My question is, this bank is a reputable bank in Singapore and have so many branches here. Why can't they just send us the shopping vouchers instead of giving us a stupid letter to let us go and exchange it ourselves? This is just a simple things that they can do for their clients. And the value is just $40?

What do you think of their service ?

I think I know the bank. They are also the ones who have very long ques at their ATM's. We had a similar issue with a voucher redemable at a department store. When we tried to use it at the cashier counter we had to go get it validated at the Customer Service Desk. The bank I have in mind has good internet service but for simple banking service I prefer to use Stan Chart.

Good Luck in the future
