i hav 2 limited accounts on winXPprofess. wanna KNOW admin password. all cd, usb drives disabled by admin?

pls tell how 2 just KNOW the admin password but not change it. i can't run cd's dvd's floppys pendrives etc. since they are disabled by the administrator. but one advantage.... i can still run memory card or a memory stick in it . he must've forgotten 2 lock it... haha. pls reply fast and gimme some good tricks

Get a program like Admin Tools or ERD both allow for password resets... I already got 10 points for this answer, some one else asked it.

Let's summarize your request without the euphamastic comments.

1. You do not own the pc, it is your companies unit at work.
2. Your system administrator has provided you a limited access account, not an administrator level account and has no intention of providing you an administrative account because he does not want unauthorized applications introduced onto his network.
3. You have no intention of respecting the system administrator and fully intend to load whatever you d--d well please and play with your favorite applications while at work. If the network is bogged down or fouled as a result of your playing it is not your problem because it is the Company's equipment.
4. Even though you are paid to work, you want to play while on the payroll. As long as the boss does not catch you who cares is your motto. If the boss catches you, you motto will be what is the boss' problem anyway.

Now that we have clearly defined you and your intentions, keep in mind that the administrative password system is designed to keep undesirable activity like you wish to undertake from happening. Tampering with or even attempting to tamper with such systems in most companies is grounds for discharge; in all companies it is sufficient grounds to remove IT equipment from your use. Many companies have monitoring equipment running in the background as well - to detect such attempts. When you are caught serious problems may well be forthcoming.

My recommendations to you are:

1. Hope you have not already been detected and stop playing around.
2. Concentrate on doing the job you were hired to do while at work. They are paying you to do this.
3. Polish off your resume. If you have been detected you will need it.
4. Learn from this. Treat company property properly. It is not your toy.

Why are you trying to do this, an by the way i don think limited accounts can run applications like downloading and adding programmes. Talk to the admnistrator.
