You don't quit and you play where the coach puts you.

During practice, keep letting the coach know you'll throw for him. Keep learning the plays. Keep pushing to play.

QBs get hurt and they'll need a back up.
Guys get tired of playing and quit themselves.
Sometimes, even quarterbacks get bad grades and are benched...or they get into trouble...
Eventually, you'll get to where you wish to be.
But you won't get there - ever - if you quit.

AND you quit more than the team:
you'd be quitting on yourself.

Try not to be so discouraged and keep going to practice.
Persistence will see you through.

you don't want to quit, so don't do it
Many great football players played more than one position during their sports careers. Qbs are frequently moved to Wr because they have good hands and feet. The coach wants you on the field and will put the best players in the best positions. Sometimes life isn't fair, but rising above those occasions are what makes you a man. Keep your chin up and prove you belong on the field every day.

For accuracy drills, obviously repetition is huge. Find some guys who like to play catch and practice connecting with moving targets.

Last, but not least, stay in school kid. Language skills are mandatory in the real world.

well, if your mind is made up not to play, that's that. sitting out a year will probably end your career. i would suggest you re-evaluate your decision to quit and play some wide out. don't be so hung up on QB and concentrate on being a better overall football player. the cream always rises to ther top. if you have the QB skills you say, you will get your day.

man, i was a center in jr high, (and a dang good one too!), but i always wanted to be a WR. well in drills the coaches started to notice i had great hands and knew how to run a decent pattern. by 9th grade, i was the statrting tight end. SO you see? things can and do work out if you don't quit! i was a rummbin' stummblin' pass catchin' machine....

Stick it out. Play WR and who knows....maybe you might actually like playing there. But, don't quit!!! You might regret it later in life and wish you would have played.
