How are you finding the new laws? Aren't you getting very wet?

I have mixed feelings on the matter. It has been proven that second hand smoke can be dangerous, but there is a debate as to how dangerous it can actually be. So I understand the need for segregation, but in reality it infringes on the basic rights to smoke.

I'm a smoker unfortunately and yes, it's embarrassing having to stand in the rain outside a pub. Especially when all the non-smokers drive past in hysterics at your pathetic addiction. It's character building; if you never got bullied at school, just take up smoking in 2007 ha ha.
On the upside, there seems to be a lot more social interaction in the smoking corners, with people opening up and talking to others where they might not have done previously. Bit more difficult to get away from somone you don't want to speak to though!!!

No, I'm not a smoker and I find that I can breath easier in many places which I couldn't before where there were smokers. Smoking is so bad for your health. I just lost an Aunt to lung cancer and she smoked. It's a terrible thing to lose a loved one to cigarettes.

I have smoked for over 30 years. Many of those who smoked with me are dead. Most of those who taught me to smoke at 15 yrs old are dead. Smoking is an addiction that will keep you with it and other people who are smokers ( a small precentage of society). You will have a limited life. Limited friends, health and men. Smoking men are self destructive in lifestyle. That makes them a bad choice for a woman who wants a family. Smoking is not natural.

The law: who cares? they are taxing for money and restricting area's for health. Smoking is more addicting than heroin. The laws are not the issue, stupidity is.

I WISH I NEVER STARTED SMOKING, I AM STUPID!!!!! WE THOUGHT IT WAS COOL, OUR PARENTS DID IT. NOW THEY ARE ALL DEAD AND I FEEL LIKE CRAP AND HAVE ONLY A FEW FRIENDS WHO STILL SMOKE AND I HATE IT!!!.

GOOD LUCK

Last time I smoked was because I accidentally set my butt on fire.

Sadly, when I dropped my flamethrower to go jump in the lake, the flamethrower ignited a tree, causing a massive forest fire. Needless to say, Smokey was ticked off. Then I screamed, " OH MY GOD! A WILD BEAR! " then I pulled out my ionic discombobulator gun and tore him apart by the molecules.

Remember kids, flamethrowers are not toys. Get your parents' permission before going pyromaniacal on an unsuspecting town.

I am - the new laws have only affected me once - when I travelled by train on Sunday and had to go stand outside the station for a ciggie - much the same as standing on the platform to be honest!

99% of smokers I know want to stop smoking. The other 1% have idiotically resigned themselves to death by smoking. Smokers face two choices (a) stop smoking or (b) die of a smoking related illness. I know which one I chose. What will you choose?
