It seems the world grows more anti-Semitic everyday.

Well, first of all, from what I have read, these textbooks are only for Israeli Arab children, not Israeli Jewish children.
Secondly, the issue at hand is not "explaining and discussing both sides" of the conflict, its "catering to a view of the current situation that is false".
In other words, the textbooks first allegiance should be to the truth not to what is considered to be "politically correct" at least for some.

Is it not wonder full of Israel to create new text book for Arab Israelis while being the occupier of their homeland?????
the Arab need to be more grate full to these people just like Americans are to Asama bin laden for 9 11 i mean just look what Israelis are doing for them in east Jerusalem if you happen to be living there and are lucky enough to be working abroad and you get dual nationality the Israeli government throws your family out of Jerusalem BUT IF YOU ARE A JEW YOU CAN HAVE SEVERAL DUAL NATIONALITIES. This how good these Israelis are to Arabs in Palestine PS don`t forget the same Arab may be Christians too not only Muslims.

I'm really glad someone asked this question, 'cause I've been puzzling over it myself. I think it's amazing that the Israelis have put together textbooks that present a balanced discussion of the Middle East problems. How on earth can people still be criticising them?
I'm also disgusted by the children's programme on Palestinian TV. No matter how hard the Israelis try, the Palestinians won't even meet them halfway. I feel sorry for the Israelis.

Its called 'Dumbing down' and is part of the Political Correct world.
Most people never really understand and fail to take in information past the headline. The have preconceived ideas based on what they think they should believe in order to confirm with main stream thinking and are to lazy to understand the full picture.
Its very sad but I think that most people are to stupid now to even vote. They just follow what the media is telling them and hold the opinion given to them.

The text book you refer too only utilises the space of one sentence to forward the Palestinian viewpoint. Hardly a balanced discussion.
Also, the text book will only be available in Arab Israeli schools as there is a segregated education system.
A step in the right direction but what remains is a marathon.

Well, they are 'uniques'.
When other civilized man try to avoid civilian casualties, they intentionally targeted civilians.
During last Lebanon war, Israeli troops make a phone call to the building they about to hit to prevent civilian casualties, sure you heard what these 'unique creatures' did; they gather women and children in that building, so that if Israeli really hit that building, they can present a spin-up coverage that the Israeli hit a 'civilian' building, costing many civilian lives.
Misunderstanding ?, not for me, I cleary understand their way of thinking, the twisted way.
If you teach your brain to twist the logic the other way around, then you can clearly see their rationale.
Peace for land/palestinian state ?, you gotta kidding me.
As long as palestinian is there, regardless they have a state or not, there cannot be peace in that area.
Hmm, strange that some i***ts comparing Israel actions against USS Liberty and King David Hotel to terrorists attack on Paddy Cafe in Bali, Bus in London, WTC in New York, Station in Madrid, Theatre in Moscow, and school in Beslan.
Hey man, think, USS Liberty was a military vessel, like USS Cole.
King David Hotel was British government center in Palestine back then.
Was Paddy Cafe in Bali a military installation ?, government office ?
Was WTC a military installation ?, or government office ?
Seems you have hard time separating insurgents from terrorists.
Double standards, eh ?

Mmmmmm. Strange how the Israelis used terrorism to achieve their State of Israel in 1948, by blowing up hotels and shooting British soldiers. Ever heard of Ben Gurion?
Is there double standards here?

In some peoples eyes, Israel will always be wrong because they exist.
Im beginning to feel that the Jews have been the most hated race in history and that is for one reason; because they were a nation set apart by God.

You are wright 100% the reason you have this conflicit is because the palestinian have 2 differnt leades or group that at this time hate each other there will be no peace until they become one then they can deal with talking to everyone else.
You can just look at the news and see this if people think I am wrong they know nothing about the world and live in la la land!!
