You have forgotten that what is deemed "silly" to you could very well be quite serious to someone else from a completely different background.
We all have our own experiences and there is no point in using our own background to assume that others would "get" our "humour" or "silly" questions.
For example: I was to greet an executive from another country who was to meet my "boss". I met him in the lobby of the building where a giant flatscreen tv plays BBC24 all day. There was a clip of a golf tournament and this man says: "Oh, I was just watching the tour I was thrown off of". I laughed and said: "Ha, ha, yeah right", thinking he was joking. After the meeting was over I told my chief executive what had happened and that I laughed when this other executive had told me he was on this pro-golfing tour. My boss answered with: "He WAS thrown off the tour."
We still laugh about it but it just goes to show that it was very easy to assume this guy was joking but the reality was he was dead serious!

1st dont worry.. put a tampon in your nose and try to breath normally
2nd adjust your clothing so that your sexual organs can become engourged with blood
3rd Eat a meat and potato pie
