do you make comments when your answer is selected as the best answer?

I always do, to let the person know that I appreciate their asking my opinion about something. And acknowledging their choosing my answer, it is a respect gesture...thank you

Only if they ask me a questions I dont really want to annoy the person who choose me... the idea of being chosen the right answer already makes me happy because somebody found an answer! And i know the person who asked is already happy with the asnwer they choose! :)

If the asker doesn't have email, I thank them for the best answer or sometimes I do add some after-thoughts I may have had on the subject.

wow, I never thought about it.....I feel really bad now for not leaving comments or emailing the person for picking me as 'best answer'!!

I will make more of an effort from now on!

You can't. That option doesn't exist.


What the hell are you talking about? The person who asks the question can add comments when choosing best answer, but the person chosen can't. There is no option for them to make a comment once the question has been resolved. I have never been able to and I've had hundreds of best answers.

I always try to at least say, "Thank you."

I appreciate people sharing their ideas, expertise, options, etc.

There are so many questions, it is a honor someone would answer mine.
