was good in the early days but its seen its time. its got to go now. the dsl and high speed internet left them in the dust holding the bag

I dont like aol... as a matter of fact i hate aol.
I just bought a used laptop that was being used with aol dial up... which is the worseee of all... as soon as i got it... went down to delete programs... and not even say good bye to aol... delete it as fast i could... felt so relieved when i saw the computer with no aol!! ... aol aim... i can stand that just a little bit... but not a fan either!

Will never use again, over charged me, and kept charging after I closed my account. Agreed to reinburse me, but I never seen a dime. I also had trouble establishing service through the local cable company. The company came to fix it and said that AOL was responsible for the trouble I was having.
I had to get nasty to get the service dropped and then had to go through the bank to make sure nothing else was taken out of my account!

I can't stand aol overall, from the "you've got mail" to the pour customer support. thus I no longer use them as my provider.

Once upon a time it was great, before the internet it was the only place to network and chat. They got too big for their britches and as a result they became arrogant, didn't care about customer service and as software became superfluous.
