has anyone out there seen Amityville horror? i am 13 and it scared the hell outta me!!! what do U think? xxx

its was pretty scary, especially the part when someone would go or be around the storage thing that the demon would open and stuff which was in the basement!!!ahhhhhhh

Yes it is very scary. The original movie not the remake. There is the real house in Amityville Long Island. Not by the water though. It was used in the film supposedly. All the flies and the voice that yelled at the the priest "Get Out" was pretty creepy.

I've heard the stories of bleeding walls and fly infested rooms. Buildings in Amityville built on top of ancient burial mounds that can't even get a decent exorcism done because of severed pigs heads appearing out of thin air and stuff, but if you lived in the UK (which is basically one ginormous plague pit anyway) such things would seem like second nature and are ignored for their lack of ingenuity.

The Book wasn't based on a True Story. The murders were real, the plain fact is they exaggerated the story. The Author of the Book never met them.

I went to see it in the theater when the very first one came out. The only thing that scared me was the black cat jumping in the window, but I read the book, the cat was not in the book.

I've seen it, and it is scary. They say that the people who have lived in that house for about the past 15 years or so haven't had weird things happen, though.

Not a bad movie. Of course, it all fiction - some books have been written claiming it was based on actual events, but that's a load of old tosh!
