Sharky, lost and injured puppies don't really have anything to do with being a kind, modern, sensitive man - unless you yourself decide to direct your kindness and sensitivity toward that area....
Do you like dogs? There are animal shelters everywhere that could use donations of time or money, or someone to help with fundraising or awareness raising...
Being kind, sensitive, AND modern? Wow. I don't know why I keep associating kindness and sensitivity with being old-fashioned...
As far as I can tell, most everyone on YA thinks you're pretty much a dream guy...probably applies to your real life as well...
Cool question - made me think about ways to improve. :-)

Well, you don't need to be kind, modern and sensitive just by rehoming all the world's lost and injured puppies. You could start with something smaller in scale, something that you'd enjoy doing, and something that would be easy for you to start off with initially. For example, you could try starting a kind of service for old people, in which you'd buy them stuff according to their exact specifications, or do their bank work, or stuff like that. If that doesn't pique your interest, you could try joining some organization like Greenpeace (www.greenpeace.org) and participate in global campaigns from your computer by writing petitions, or even physically participate in their campaigns.

rehoming lost & injured puppies is a really generous & good thing.
but if you do it JUST because you wanna become the guy you wanted yourself to be, it wont be worth it.'
it must come from the bottom of your heart.
and why the heck do you wanna b a kind, modern, and sensitive man?
you can do that by changing your bad habits.
being a modern man doesnt require you to wear tight shirts and drive a Benz.
just be urself.
but if u really wanna change in a whole new better direction, im supporting you in this.
remember, it all must come straight from your heart.

Don't do it. Saving all the puppies in the world is a bit of an unrealistic go. Just build yourself a reputation that you are the Puppy Savior. You don't really need to actually be one.
Oh, and whenever you see a cat, kiss it. That will be good for your image too. And once in a while wear a pink tshirt and tell people you totally support 'alternative lifestyles'.

Awww, S, you're already kind and sensitive. If you started rehoming Lost & Injured Puppies that would only be providing L.I.P. service. Just continue using your brain, your conscience, your experience and the good things in your upbringing to guide you. You'll be just fine.

The best way to accomplish what it seems you are looking for is to start on the inside and build your way out. What ever your definitions are for acting KIND and SENSITIVE, take those and begin by treating yourself in that manner. You will find that your energy on the outside will match that of your inside and then you can begin to share your own ideas of being KIND and SENSITIVE. I wouldn't necessarily start a dog shelter, unless that is something you are passionate about.

I got a puppy a few week's ago, he was only 4 week old his mom attacked him and wouldn't let him feed AHHH.
He's 8 week now and me and my fella are knackered. I have an arm full of bruises and my living room is smelly and full of his toys. Don't take on more than you can mate they are a bloody adorable hand full. One pup at a time is enough honest.

Since I have 7 pugs, I suggest you do just that!! Totally serious. Live in the country with 7 dogs!! And they all like to sit in my lap at the same time. So are you trying to get laid? Because it's really early for that. YOU MEN!!!!

Serious question huh?
Right so..there must be about 14 million lost & injured puppies in the world. At 100g of sh*t each per day I reckon your back garden would quickly become unuseable. ..
