Nope. Not even on the radar.
Of the newer bands, Tool, Three Days Grace and Flyleaf are a bit ahead.

The Arctic Monkeys are good and are one of the first bands who have relied completely on the internet to spread their fame across the globe and i give them credit for the ingenuity of that, using myspace and other sites to move their image to everyone.
Fratellis is a newer band but a band grown from the ashes of others. Fratellis has a little more style especially at their live shows but that transfers pretty well into their recordings also.
They are both great bands that have came from that Island over there. (Fratellis from Scotland, while Arctic monkeys from England). There might be a better band out there but i can't really think of one right now. I enjoy Fratellis more so than i do the Arctic monkeys, but I do enjoy both bands greatly...

The Hold Steady are comfortably the best band around at the moment, followed by Arcade Fire, Muse and Reverend And the Makers (thus ensuring that the Arctic Monkeys are not even the best band in Sheffield at the moment) - that said, I'm gooing to see them on Sunday....

Wouldn't say the best. They have limited talent compared to other bands.
But they seem to be the most commercial bands. They make catchy tunes to go with their basic lyrics.
Not really pushing the boundaries of try to evolve music.

I love both of them. But i think we're really lucky to have great music around in general at the moment.
