No they already told the fans off basically. The sisters need to remember what they got themselves into by letting Natalie represent the band. They only came out in support of her so now they are stuck with the trouble as well. So long story short she made a mess and all have to live with it. To those wondering when she messed with the fans, when she said they were leaving Country. She was like fine I'm taking my ball and going home because you won't play by MY rules.

Oh what they "believed" now? Get a grip. What happened to that claim when they came home? Oh yeah her excuse to it all was oh it is so Anti-American and I just got caught up in it. Not THAT IS WHAT I BELIEVE.

One more time.... Only b/c people don't seem to get that they did not leave country music country music left them (and now they don't want to come back... i mean if your best friends left you but kicked you in the face a few times first would you really want to go back to them?):
HOWEVER! They did not leave country music! Country music left them. country music stopped playing them on the radio due to some country music fans demands! Country music fans burned their CD's. And one country music fan even threatened to kill them!
Yes they made a statement that some people didn't agree with. Yes they did it off American soil.
However, we all have the right to what we believe... and we all have the right to express what we believe when and where we want to. I have that right, I will use it... the difference is the general public wont hear what I say, and they heard them.
I'm from Texas, and I am not really ashamed that the president came from here... but I do not agree with things he says or does! I'll say that over and over... I just wont be banned from anything for it.
They sing, and they sing damn good music... that's what I like them for. What they think is what they think... People can protest them all they want, the are still successful with or without country music.
FYI I love country music to death... I just don't love hardcore republicans so much... but that's another story.
... And I come from a family with a strong military background (ARMY RANGERS, Family that fought and some died in WWII, and am related to an extremely famous General)... None of them believe that putting a boot in your *** is the American way.

(this is copied from another question I answered so it may not all have to do w/ this question)

The Dixie Chicks will always be the Band That Sold Out When Their Name Got Smeared. No amount of releasing spite-filled albums and flaunting aging bodies will change this.

Point: Never go to a primary US ally's home soil and say stupid things about the US President in front of American soldiers and English support - ESPECIALLY if your #1 record that week is called "Travelling Soldier". Nathalie Maines will bite the hand that feeds her for a dance with fame.

For shame.

I didn't think they left....although I'm not sure they have the same fans backing them up yet....I think they pushed the envelope a little to much and shot themselves in the foot....they wont ever be as popular as they once were.... in my opinion

I can only hope they disappear (the sooner the better!!!!!) I did not like them before the dumb blond started running her mouth, and that did not make it any better. As far as i am concerned,"Goodbye Earl" was when Country music hit an all time low.
