Hi. I purchased on Ebay some tablets. (Colon Cleansing Kit). They turned up yesterday in an envelope, and inside the envelope is a clear bag which is sealed by a sticker with the name of the drug hand written on it. No instructions no leaflet nothing. In the description on e bay it shows a bottle of tablets, although the seller states he sends this tablets in discreet packaging. Would you take these tablets? I went to my doctor yesterday and he strongly advised me not to take them. The seller on e bay is being very awkward in giving me a refund £25.00. What would you do. I have tried to escalate a claim via paypal, and paypal says I cant do this??? Help please I am very confused and out of pocket. Remember this is just a clear bag with a sticker on the front saying a name of a drug. Thank you in advance.

Yes report them to the police and give the police the drugs, you could also have them analysed in a lab if you can talk to a few people in the lab of a hospital.
SECONDLY what a fool you are to trust ANY drug given to you by a stranger. DONT EVER BUY DRUGS from anyone only what your own doctor prescribes. Doctors have a license for a reason so they can be held accountable for what drugs they administer. This person could be selling you death in a plastic bag!!
If you want to cleanse your colon, spend 4 days eating nothting but fresh fruit and veg and drinking gallons of water, if you're still not happy, go get a colon cleanse at a reputable clinic.
Dont mess with the internet and drugs you are asking for trouble.

Theres no chance i would take any tablets without having a leaflet inside warning me of side effects, your head could start swelling or you may have just paid £25.00 for placebo tablets. did you check their feedback score before buying?? You probably wont get a refund unless you really look at what was on the description of the his product you might be able to pick at something but i would suggest leaving bad feedback if you dont get your money back in a month and never buy something like that off of ebay

Word of Caution.! Never, never buy drugs off E-Bay. And if those pills are not adequately labelled; I wouldn't take them. Medicines should only be strictly obtained in tamper proof containers. You can buy them from Pharmacies with licensed Pharmacists or refutable drug companies in their original manufacturers' containers.

In addition, it is not a good practice to use somebody's else prescribed drugs.

Another thing to remember: Make sure you check their expiration dates.

Normally, cleansing tablets are not dangerous. But, overall; it's not a good idea at all to take any meds not properly labelled. Without proper directions; dosage, frequency and listed side efffects.

You can hew and holler all you want. But I'm pretty sure; you won't be able to obtain any refund. Second hands stuffs are always sold on an Caveat Emptor (Buyer's Beware or AS IS) .- basis. In other words ; there are no guarantees for merchantability.

Besides, it's hard to get refunds on medicines and foods.

Just chuck it up to an expensive lesson learned.

first you file a claim with Ebay- inform them of the situation and that this was not a SEALED packaging- you want to file a claim for refund. Paypal- you can file a claim with paypal but you have to type in info and send a request of payment through. Also, always check feedback, did you check this persons feedback? You can contact other buyers through this source and find out if they had any similar issues with this seller.
Also, you might consider emailing the seller himself one more time prior to any other action and inform him that you had this med investigated and if he doesn't give you a refund that he will be reported, may even be arrested for selling such a product that is unsafe for public consumption. Try that first.
Good luck- never purchase any meds or food from Ebay and always check seller feedback ratings and read all their negatives prior to bidding or buying.

I strongly believe that you should not take those tablets. Even though you bought them from a very famous web site that sells products via Internet, you should be careful and not play tricks with your health. If I were you, I would give the tablets in a pharmacist to check their substance and I would return the product and ask for the ingredients, the storage, the dosage and generally the directions of that drug.

I would report them to the police for selling drugs (prescription or otherwise) on the internet without a licence.

why on earth would you buy any form of tablets / medication from e-bay ?
I think you would be very foolish to even think about taking them.... Bin them, and kiss the £25. goodbye, and learn from this daft act.

The first answer above is very good advice. That and don't take the tablets.

You could look the drug name online and compare the pics or take them to the pharmacy to be identified. Still not sure I would take them.
