Planet of the Apes ---watch with my son
When I was a teen my mom and I used to rent old movies,
I loved Gone with the Wind, the Thornbirds, old Alfred Hitchcock, old spaghetti Westerns, anything with The Duke, Gene Autry. Ah the list is forever long,....but I've got my teen son now taking an interest in them which is toooo cool!!!

I would have to say either Wizard of Oz or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (I loved that movie). You could also consider Oliver, Pippy Longstocking, or Annie...those all are good too.

I remember watching the original STARWARS with my dad at Christmas years and years ago. ET is good, too.
