I have an ethernet cable connected to my PS3 thats coming from a router thats hooked up to my PC. Now dont tell me I cant access my computer from my PS3 this whay cause then you will be wrong. I say that because I have done it, it just happens to happen, when the stupid a** PS3 feels like it. So my question is how do I fix this once and for all, to where its easy. I have Microsoft media player 11. I go to share media and the PS3 doesnt show up in the "share with" box. Can you tell me how I can get my computer to recognize the damn PS3?

Well...im not sure about the setup of that as I do not have a ps3, but if you havent already tried disabling any and all firewalls first, I would start with that. Otherwise, I would call sony.
