personally i think get rid of the lot and throw in fev (if he doesn,t get his attitude right and start acting like a man) kouta has earned the right to retire gracfully and still plays solidly.

what are your thoughts?any others?

Come on deedubya, pagan had a chance to build from the ground up and instead chose to recruit old hacks,he should have gone with youth i mean he recruited mick martyn (who was 80 not out) for gods sake.

the whole carlton side is up in smokes and they have absoloutly no leadership in the squad. They not only put gibbs into the leadership group not even playing a game for them but now they are looking for captains from other clubs to play and provide leadreship to them (eg pavlich & judd) The axe is going to come down for a few players and i wouldn't be suprised if the let fev go even though pagans gone but some names from that list maybe saved (eg houlihan, betts, whitenall & blackwell) but only bcoz they've got so many others to cut first

lance whitenall - times up ( the games just a bit to quick for him )

ryan houlihan - would still hang on to him unless you could get either a good player or good draft picks

kane ackland - Would need to get another ruck before they let himgo. However if they get another ruckman then let him go

eddie betts - would still hang on to him

mathew lappin - depends on his value to other clubs as he could probably still play as a pinch hitter

jordan bannister - would still hang on to him

luke blackwell - would still hang on to him (he shows enough)

i reckon whitnall, ackland, houlihan and lappin r all pretty old already so they wouldnt be worth much, as for eddie betts, bannister and blackweel.. they r all pretty much no good... by the way, if carlton didnt have fev theyd be losing by 200 instead of 100 and wouldnt have won half as many as they have won in the last few years

Amazing...not one of the names you listed is connected to the real "cause" of why Carlton is @ss up.! The old saying, cheats never prosper, ..hey... how good is that . Carlton employ Pagan, he starts with the club, they are fined and have draft picks withdrawn, now the arrogant administration use him as the scapegoat! . Carlton sack a proven PREMIERSHIP coach and replace him with a bloke who has NEVER coached before, ....another ROTTEN decision ,.how administratively ABSURD! Pagan arrived at Carlton with a great AFL coaching reputation, now he is "cheated" of that, what an INSIPID organisation ..
