The pregnancy tests can give false negatives. How soon that you show a positive results depends alot on when you conceived. If you happened to conceive close to your missed period, the test may not have been able to register the pregnancy hormone. Test again, if you haven't already.
A nurse told me that if you are far enough along to have symptoms, then the test should be able to give a positive result. There are women however, who need to have a blood test to get an accurate result.

If a pregnancy test still shows "negative" result, then see a doctor. Hormone imbalances can cause pregnancy -like symptoms. If that is the case, the doctor can put you on a short term med to get your hormones in balance.

Good luck!

I am 13 days late now, so i feel you. I am pretty sure I had a faint positive the other day, but now I am not so sure, it could have been anevaporation line I guess. I totally feel for you, its so agrivating! Take another test, then wait a week and test again. If that test comes out negative, make an appointment to see your doc! I have seen the doctor, but she just blew me off and made me feel stupid. She went off the pregnancy test they used, and I wasnt even late yet. She thinks that because I am on the pill that its pretty much impossible for me to get pregnant, so choose your doctor wisely. Now I have to find a new doctor. I'm just going to wait until I miss 2 periods completely, that way they cannot argue with me, and then they should have to give me the freaking blood test! Sorry bout the rant! Good Luck to you!

It could be hormones reacting to stress.Sometimes periods reschedule themselves naturally. Not too many women have their periods regularily anyways. Also if a woman has suffered tremendous weight loss that could cause a late period or none at all for months.Such as anorexia nervosa.Nipples will get sore sometimes from hormones releasing themselves into the blood stream(it,s not just a symptom of pregnancy). It almost sounds like your body could be readying itself to have your period and it could be a bit heavier than usual which happens naturally sometimes.

It sounds like you could definatley be pregnant. Maybe you also miscalculated your last period and that could be why the test is not positive. Or maybe your Prgnancy hormone level isn't high enough. If you really wanna know i would call the doctor and have them take a blood test, that's suposed to be the most accurate and can detect lower hormone levels. GOOD LUCK

You should wait a little later maybe 20 days it is usually more acurate and try a different test then if it comes up negetive again and the syptoms continue the smart thing to do is go to your doctor

Take another pregnancy test. If it is still negative, you should call your doc to find out what is going on. Early pregnancy signs can seem a lot like PMS, so it's hard to tell from your sypmtoms.

Take another test, and if that is negative, go get a blood test, they are more accurate.
